Protect Your Outdoor Timber Furniture
Maintaining the condition of your outdoor timber furniture doesn’t have to be a drag! It’s super easy to nourish the beautiful timber in your home and protect it for the long-haul.
You’ll need:
Preparation
If your outdoor timber furniture is brand new, you’ll need to coat it before exposing it to weather. Start by cleaning the timber with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or dust that may be on the surface.
Coat the timber with Feast Watson Outdoor Furniture Oil to every side of the timber making sure to always coat any end grains. Coat using a brush or spray.
Wait 30 minutes then wipe the surface with a clean cloth to remove any excess from the timber. Make sure to read the label for guidance on drying times as these will vary depending on the weather conditions.
To really extend the life of the coating, apply a second coat 12 hours after the first coat.
Maintenance
If you already have outdoor timber furniture and its ready for a maintenance coat, you’ll need to start by cleaning the timber with Feast Watson Woodclean according to the instructions on the label and allow the timber to completely dry before coating.
Apply the first coat of Feast Watson Outdoor Furniture Oil. After 30 minutes wipe the surface over with a clean cloth to remove any excess. Wait 12 hours before applying a second coat remembering to wipe any excess off after 30 minutes.
